Japanese artist creates incredible pieces by twisting and folding balloons
Balloon art is something that almost all of us have seen at some point: some people can create a little dog, a flower or a sword with just a few bends and twists in a balloon, and voilá! A new toy for the kids.
But if you have ever tried to create anything with these balloons, you probably didn’t manage much more than a few twists before the balloon explodes. Masayoshi Matsumoto, a Japanese balloon artist, has probably gone through this too, but he’s a pro now.
It took him nearly four years to complete his training to become a professional balloon artist, and seeing his work it’s wonderful to see what can be accomplished in such a short amount of time. His pieces, which demonstrate quite a fascination for insects, are incredible.
